My first blog post ever! How exciting. Well, not really. Very indifferent indeed. It's not like tons of people will be reading what I write about. I'm at a Starbucks in Anaheim, listening to Bing Crosby's Christmas songs, and enjoying every sip of my soy caffe latte :). Very peaceful, yet a little overwhelmed. I'm currently in the process of applying to pharmacy schools and the deadline for one of them is approaching faster and faster. University of Michigan, December 1st! Arg. Already submitted all of my PharmCAS applications, but still need to finish my supplemental applications. My goals, visions, passions in pharmacy practice as health care has been increasingly evolving recently. I'm just a super slow writer and I just I had more time to elaborate on my ideas. I'm waiting for one of my good friends because she'll join me to study soon. Later we are planning on going to a Korean market to do some grocery shopping. Ah. I really wish I was more creative and detailed on how I describe things. This is really frustrating.
I spent Thanksgiving with Stephanie's family in Anaheim and I must say that it will be a truly memorable and invaluable experience. My first Thanksgiving with the Garcia family. I've been blessed by her friendship and our adventures together. She has been there with me since the first week of college and throughout the years we've become sisters. The laughter and the giggles that I will never forget :). We had four Thanksgiving dinners, yeah, FOUR. First one was at Stephanie's uncle Rene's house. We had pozole, tamales, fruit salad (with condensed milk, yum!), chewy rice krispies (courtesy of Steph's mom), rice, beans, and champurado! Heavenly meal. About two hours later we headed to Steph's cousin Christine's house in downtown LA. We gave ourselves good two hours to digest the food before gorging with food again. Ok, I'm just in love with Stephanie's family. They're so funny, loving, extremely loud, just full of joy and happiness :). I really appreciated my time here in Anaheim with her family. Thank you Lord for granting me such joy and invaluable friendship.
